The Name of the Elohim of Israel – יהוה Yehovah

Whether or not you would like to argue about this name; it is His name with all the vowel points and numerous scrolls addressing this as the name of the Elohim of Israel. I am NOT a person who needs to set out to do so. I know of several good men who, have taken this endeavor to clearly show the linguistic scholarship behind addressing the name of the Elohim of Israel; I can direct you to the sources that have written material and podcasts directed to this subject. And it is my hope and endeavor to share their work with as many as I can.

Consider:

  • Leviticus 24:15-16 To make a trifling mark towards, to voice a separation between His name and His instruction.
  • Exodus 23:20-22 “since my Name is in him”
  • Exodus 10:3 “How long will you REFUSE to humble yourselves before me?” -“Thus says Yehovah
  • Exodus 6:2-3 “but I did not make myself known to them by my name Yehovah”
  • Gen 15:5 “And because he put his trust in Yehovah, He reckoned it to his merit”
  • Gen 19:34 The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as one of your citizens; you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I Yehovah am your Elohim.”
  • Gen 20:7 “You shall sanctify yourselves and be holy, for I Yehovah am your Elohim. You shall faithfully observe My Torah: I Yehovah make you holy”.

Meet:

Let me briefly explain. I for a long while tried to find an even ground with ‘Christianity’ in my studies. I sought to go to the source as it was and read all I could gain access to concerning Catholic writings. I was not just settling for a study from the insight of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. I strove to gain insight from the writings of those called ‘Fathers of the faith’ or ‘Church Fathers’; and it was within this time I had an epiphany of sorts that I was pilling up knowledge of another religion contrary to the wording of the Messiah, Yeshua, who I was seeking to gain a greater insight of. Here I found myself in a conundrum, faced with reevaluating my approach. In my early years of study, I digested every known theology and historical writing I could get my hands on. Protestant writings and theology were, to say the least, an in-depth long breath against Catholicism. Then as opening a door with piercing light surrounding my approach to studying; I was caught up in what I now know today as the tevilah of the Ruach Kodesh; expressed in Christian circles as the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Now, I no longer am trying to seek union with ‘Christianity’ with its mound of man-made traditions and theologies; I seek only the union with Yehovah. In this, I have found true freedom of purpose, and a much greater understanding of hidden truths contained within the writings of the New Testament, which is no ‘testament’ at all. But I will express that at a later time.

I will share with you some material that will open your eyes, so to speak, to the hand of the enemy in the perversion of the sacred words of Yehovah and his son, Yeshua, in the canon of Christian Scriptures, as time goes by in my blog. They are for help in your studies. Because like all men outside the source, and that source being Yeshua himself, we must rightfully divide and discern Scripture. Please see my definition of that word.

So why would knowing the holy name of the Creator, be important? Because it brings intimacy into the relationship between God and man. It clearly set the stage of sovereignty in the mind of man. It puts the King upon the throne of glory and not some absent-minded ideology of ‘a god’ with the name ‘the Lord’ whom we pray amiss, not knowing that our prayers cannot be against His revealed will toward those in union with Him, (James 4:3).

This is the holy name of the Elohim of Israel: Yehovah

Oh, how wonderful is His name upon those, who are separated for His will to be carried out upon Earth.

Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I have come to destroy the Torah or the Nevi’im, I did not come to destroy but to fulfill”.

Deuteronomy 4:2 “You shall not add anything to what I command you or take anything away from it but keep the commandments of Yehovah your Elohim that I enjoin upon you”.

Deuteronomy 12:32 0r 13:1 “Be careful to observe only that which I enjoin upon you: neither add to it nor take away from it”.

Matthew 19:17 “Yeshua said to him, “Why do you ask me about good deeds? There is no one who is good except one, Yehovah. But if you desire to enter into eternal life, keep the commandments.”

Be careful not to entertain your minds with the doctrines of men who would “hold the truth in unrighteousness”. Hear only the Father’s words and believe in the testimony of Yeshua, the Messiah of Israel. He was sent to the lost sheep of Israel underneath the takanot of Rabbinical Pharisaism; so that they would turn back to the Father and be a light unto the nations. you, are to hear from those lost sheep; for whom you know as the Apostles of the Messiah of Israel – Yeshua.
